June Energy: Lighten Up, Have Fun & Let Life Open
June has a way of opening things up.
The days stretch longer, the nights feel freer, and there’s a natural pull toward movement, connection, and being more fully in life. It’s a season of growth, but also of lightness. Of remembering that things don’t always have to feel so serious.
For me, June is about lightening up and having fun.
It’s enjoying simple pleasures, laughing a little more, and sharing experiences with the people around me. There’s an ease to it, a reminder that life is meant to be lived, not just managed.
It also brings me back to childhood memories of summer.
Picking strawberries on a local farm with family and friends, munching along the way, savoring the sweetness.
Sunny, breezy, active days at my grandparents’ farm picking vegetables, driving the tractor and lawnmower, and feeding the cows — feeling both free and grounded all at once. Nights under a sky that stretched endlessly with stars, getting lost in constellations and my dreams.
Fresh ice cream from a nearby dairy. Days on the beach close to home — sand, surf, and sometimes sailing.
It was simple. Expansive. A little bit magical… and a lot of fun.
That energy is still here.
June invites you back into it, not just doing more, but enjoying more.
Around the solstice, as we reach the longest day of the year, there’s a natural peak in light and energy. It’s often when what’s been building since the start of the year begins to show itself.
Maybe not all at once. Maybe not perfectly.
But something is shifting. Something is coming to life.
Take a moment to notice:
What feels like it’s opening?
What feels a little lighter than it did before?
What is beginning to take shape?
Growth doesn’t always arrive in big, dramatic ways. Sometimes it’s quieter; a small shift, a new sense of ease, a little more energy for what matters.
There’s a playful, creative spark to this season. A nudge to get outside, to move your body, to connect, to say yes to what feels fun, alive, and just a little bit freeing.
And just as importantly, to appreciate what’s already here.
No rushing. No forcing.
Just stepping into the days as they are — long, full, and maybe even a little magical.
With gratitude and a touch of summer magic,
Rebecca
